Teen Wolf: The Movie Trailer Teases Allison Argent’s Return and New Surprises

The stars of Beacon hills are back but not as teens anymore.

MTV’s award-winning series, Teen Wolf, which premiered on June 5, 2011, and concluded on September 24, 2017, after six seasons, is making its return in the form of a movie, coming to Paramount Plus sometime this year.

The first trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie was released recently during the film’s San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel and the fans are certainly excited as most fan-favorite actors from the TV series are returning for the movie.

Apart from the fact that the trailer has shown us what we should be expecting from the movie, it also features the return of Allison (Crystal Reed), Scott McCall’s first love, as well as the addition of some new characters. It was also revealed that Vince Mattis will play Eli Hale as Derek’s teenage son. Beyond this, the trailer does not give much away in terms of storyline, keeping fans guessing.

The cast list for Teen Wolf: The Movie includes Tyler Posey, Seth Gilliam, Holland Roden, Shelley Henning, Orny Adams, Linden Ashby, Khylin Rambo, J.R. Bourne, Ian Bohen, Colton Haynes, Ryan Kelley, Melissa Ponzio, Dylan Sprayberry, Tyler Hoechlin, and Reed. Sadly, Dylan O’ Brien and Arden Cho will not be returning. At the moment, Cho has her hands full with the upcoming Partner Track on Netflix while O’Brien’s Not Okay opposite Zoey Deutch will soon be released.

Teen Wolf: The Movie has started filming and according to Paramount+, it is slated to be released this year but the details of when exactly it will air are yet to be announced.

The official synopsis of the movie is below.

In Teen Wolf: The Movie, a full moon rises in Beacon hills, and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.
