A New Trailer For Ant-Man & The Wasp Just Dropped – Prepare Yourself

Prepare yourself for Marvel awesomeness: a new trailer for Ant-man & The Wasp just dropped. This is going to be an amazing year for Marvel Entertainment. Isn’t every year?

They have Black Panther dropping in Feb and it’s already breaking records. Avengers: Infinity War drops will be in theatres in May and it is arguably the biggest cinematic endeavour of all time…currently. Now Ant-man & The Wasp drops in July…tbh, The Ant-Man &The Wasp is looking gooood. Hope gets a suit, and it has wingssss.

Here’s a look at the trailer:

There was a pleasant callback to Captain America: Civil War in this trailer. It seems this movie will be dealing with the fallout of his choice to side with Captain America. Evangeline Lilly makes an awesome Wasp, right? The little we’ve seen here is amazing.

And I see Laurence Fishburne has been cast in this movie, that’s pretty awesome, right?  He’s an amazing actor. Randall Park (from Fresh Off The Boat) has also been cast as S.H.I.E.L.D agent but it icing on the cake is Michelle Pfieffer’s casting. The Academy-award-nominated actress will also be in the movie as Hope’s mother as Janet Van Dyke, the original Wasp 👏👏👏 Amazing!!!  Janet Van Dyke was lost in the ‘Quantum Realm’ years earlier while on a mission with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), the original Ant-man. I’m looking forward to see more of that story.

Here’s the thing, I’ve actually always loved Ant-man & Wasp, in the comics, they were original Avengers and I was bummed when they didn’t appear in the original Avengers movie of 2012. And when Ant-man got his own movie, I was really excited. But I was surprised to realize that not many people knew about him so the excitement for his 2015 movie was not there, but still – it beat out expectations; it had a great storyline, was really fun and made over half a billion dollars.

Now more people know about Ant-man and more people will be turning up to see the movie, I can’t wait.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released on July 6, 2018.
